L.A. has become more HK-like with numerous restaurants and tea shops targeting the younger generations. Here are pictures as taken from a few HK-style restaurants that served "HK-style" set meals (came with a drink and a soup).
From "Garden Cafe" - meal's soup (creamy veggie)

Cold milk tea with free refill (that's right, all you can drink)

Baked "creamy ham and chicken rice with cheese" See the condensed milk for the hot milk tea in the back of the picture?

Traditional "Beef Chow Fun"

From "Yau Yat Chuen" Cafe

Penag "Seafood Chow Fun and Rice Lines", a mixture of both noodles. The rice lines were lightly fried, wow!

Hai-Nan Chicken Rice

From "U2" Cafe

Baked "Fish Filet Rice with Cheese"

"Spam and Egg" macaroni with soup - my favorite

From "Maxim Cafe"

"Chicken Filet" with thick mushroom sauce and veggies

"Filet Mignon" with thick mushroom sauce and veggie

Too many to list. Here is the URL in case if you visit L.A. in the future.
