Hundreds of couples are getting married in the USA today but I am not sure if it's also happening across the globe (well, I am pretty certain that it is not happening in Hong Kong or China because we know what "7" means to us).
Anyway, so why "7" is lucky? I digged up some little facts from Google about "7"...
- The reason for 7 being a lucky number symbolically (such as in the Bible) is because it represents the union of man and woman, since the number for women is 4 and the number for men is 3.
- Seven Lucky Gods exist in Japanese mythology.
- Being dealt three 7 cards in Blackjack is almost a sure win, as they would add up to 21. Seven is considered a lucky number in Western culture.
